Preparation & Coordination

Many people forget about how much preparation and coordination goes into the moving process, and even more so when you want to have a move that runs seamlessly and is over quickly. We get the process off on the right foot by researching and comparing local moving companies for you to find the one that is the best fit for you and your budget. We coordinate all the details with your moving company as well as any other vendors involved (the couch doctor, contractor to uninstall art or mounted TVs, specialty art shipping/ handling, cable box returns, etc) to help you move out of your home and into your new home, from start to finish. No detail goes forgotten!

The Official Move-Out

At Swoon Spaces, we don’t just plan your move, we are on site to make sure everything goes according to plan each and every step of the way. We oversee the whole process from editing your belongings before the move (which could save you hundreds of dollars from packing and moving items you don’t need/want), to helping you pack so that all categories go to the right room or area immediately, and then unpack quickly into your new home. We can be on-site to make sure that boxes and furniture are put into the proper rooms and that there are no issues with anything on moving day. Imagine having the hands and brains of expert organizers on-site to oversee your move-in? There is nothing better!

Move-in Day (or Week)

This is where our expertise shines the most!

We get to set-up your new home and personalize your space from day one! The Swoon Team will set up your furniture with the best layout and flow, install your art, mount your TVs, organize your closets and cabinets to perfection and make sure it all gets done in the least amount of time! We will also unpack, categorize, shop, and implement our full organizing process (including organizing products) to maximize your space and create systems that will prove to be functional and maintainable for you and your family. We are also mindful of your goals and aesthetics so that your space will look clean and calm and reflect your lifestyle from the get-go. Some call it magic, we call it a dream job!

Full-Service or A-La-Carte

One of the best parts about our move management service is that our team can step in at any point throughout the moving process OR be there for every step along the way. If you want to handle the moving company and vendor details, but want to call Team Swoon in for the ‘unpack + organize’ portion once you’re in your new home. We’re in!

If you hate the idea of being involved in any part of your moving project, we can handle it all for you and will only loop you in with the details when absolutely necessary. The perfect option for the busiest of individuals or families. All you have to do is let us know how much (or how little) you want to handle yourself and let us take care of the rest.
