Getting Robin Arzón Organized:

How to Jumpstart Your Next Chapter Too!

Last December, Swoon Spaces had the absolute pleasure of helping Robin Arzón; the VP/ Head Instructor over at Peloton, NYT best-selling author, and 27 marathon runner, get her home prepared for the next chapter of her life.

Robin just welcomed her second child, was a few short weeks away from the end of her maternity leave, and was gearing up to head back to work full-time days before the holiday season began! Even though Robin is an incredibly efficient and organized person, the overwhelm of welcoming a new addition to her family, going back to work, and the holiday season made for quite a whirlwind of chaos - something I’m sure many of you can relate to.

We were hired by Robin to create Swoon-worthy solutions to maximize all the storage spaces in her home and to help her feel centered, calm, in control and ready to tackle her next chapter.

WHAT DID WE DO?

The first phase of this project (and most of our projects) was a decluttering phase. We went through all the spaces in Robin’s home and helped edit through items: deciding what to keep, what could be donated, and what should be discarded. From there we handled all the donations and drop-offs so that her home had only the items she needed, used, or wanted to hold on to.

We then worked in Robin’s kitchen and several closets in her home. In four of the closets, we created custom designs to maximize the space and introduce more efficient systems for their family. We oversaw the installation process and made sure each closet was functional and organized so that items could be found and accessed easily.

WHAT ORGANIZING PRODUCTS DID WE USE?

We used a lot of products to help Robin’s family stay organized but here’s a list of some key products we used:

WHAT WERE THE RESULTS?

We worked to help maximize the closet spaces in their home so it would comfortably fit their new family of four. We created structure and systems in their kitchen so that meal prep and cooking could be as easy and fun as possible. We transitioned her older daughter’s room into a room for two, with space for each child to have their own dresser and closet. We also reorganized Robin’s clothing by prioritizing the accessibility of post-partum clothes and sorting any others by category size. We completed the new systems with labels to help keep the system easy to maintain.

Our goal at Swoon Spaces was to help this strong and resilient woman feel ready for the next chapter of her life. We made sure that we transformed her spaces to accommodate the new addition to her family so everyone could live comfortably. We decluttered, designed, and organized her kitchen and seven closets to make her home as efficient as possible. Now that her home is organized, Robin can feel like she’s ready to tackle all of the goals that she has for this new chapter of her life.
